Locker Request Form

We have noticed a significant decrease over the last few years in the number of students who are actively using a locker.   We allow backpacks and many classes have online platforms and our students are responding accordingly and not using a locker.    We also will be undergoing transformative bond renovations on both ends of our campus-allowing us to make better use of the current locker space in terms of bench seating and/or dedicated signage.

We have removed the assigned lockers from all current students.   What that means is NO STUDENTS will be automatically assigned a locker.

All students, including current upperclassmen, who wish to have a locker will need to request a locker.   This will help us determine going forward how many lockers we can remove and still be right sized.

If you would like a locker, please fill out the google form: GHS Locker Request

Immunization Information

When kids come together at school, there’s a chance for illnesses to spread. That’s why Michigan has vaccine requirements for school entry -- to help keep all children safe and healthy in group settings like classrooms and childcare centers.

To attend school, children must meet the state’s minimum vaccination requirements. Following the recommended vaccination schedule from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), which not only keeps your child protected but also ensures they meet school vaccine rules. You can find the full vaccination schedule on the Centers for Disease Control website.

The Health Department Immunization Program offers a variety of immunization services to community residents with the goal of reducing the incidence of vaccine-preventable diseases. Immunizations are available for both children and adults in Genesee County.

Please visit the Genesee County Health Department website for more information.

Vaccine waivers will be provided only for Genesee County residents and those with children in Genesee County schools.  Nonmedical Immunization waivers will be completed in MCIR and waiver appointments will be conducted in person.  You may request an appointment online through the Genesee County Health Department website.
