Non-Homestead Operating Millage Renewal - Vote November 3, 2026
Goodrich Area Schools is asking voters to vote November 3rd for the renewal of the district’s current non-homestead operating millage.
If approved, this renewal will allow Goodrich Area Schools to continue receiving approximately $1.8 million each year in funding that is already part of the district’s annual operating budget.
Under Michigan’s school funding system, school districts are required to receive voter approval to continue collecting this portion of their operating revenue. This is not additional funding or money above our current budget. It is a renewal of funding our district already receives and relies on each year to support the day-to-day education of our students.
These dollars help support the people, programs, and services our students depend on every day - including teachers and staff, classroom resources, educational programs, transportation, and other essential school operations.
