October 30th- Halloween Festivities (Details Below)
November 3rd- NO SCHOOL (Staff PD Day)
November 4th- ELGA Deposit Day
November 10th & 12th- Parent Teacher Conferences (4:30-8:00pm)
November 13th- Reid Elementary 1/2 Day
 

Halloween Information

We will host our annual Halloween parade at 9:15am October 30. Families are welcome to join us and line the outdoor parade route. School appropriate costumes should be worn to school! Please refer to communication from your child's teacher in regards to classroom specific festivities after the parade. Also note, if you are chosen to attend a classroom party, you MUST have an iChat on file. You will not be let into our building without this completed and approved by Central Office.
 

Afternoon Caravan

Our afternoon caravan line has been moving much more quickly, we are now typically finished by 4:10 PM! Since the school day ends at 3:50 PM, we kindly ask that all parents arrive for caravan pickup before 4:05 PM to ensure everyone is picked up on time.
Thank you so much for your flexibility, understanding, and continued support! We appreciate you all and hope this helps make afternoon pickup go smoothly for everyone.

School Hours & Attendance

Reid's school hours are:
Full Day: 8:30am – 3:50pm, Half Day: 8:30am – 12:10pm.
Tardy: Students should be in their classroom ready to learn by 8:30. After 8:35, or if they miss the caravan line and are brought in the office for drop off, they are marked tardy.
Half Day (AM or PM Absence): Arrive after 9:15 or leave before 3:10. Please use the ParentVue app or call the attendance line to report your child’s absence. Parents will receive an automated phone call, text, and email if an absence is not verified to the office by 9:15 am. After receiving these communications, please call the front office or attendance line or the absence will remain unverified.
Excused Medical Absence: In the case that your child missed school because they were under the care of a physician, please turn all doctor’s notes into the office within one week of their return to school.
